I am deeply invested in our community and am committed to the hard work to help us continue to grow and strengthen Roseville together. I was raised here, played on the fields and playgrounds, and attended Roseville Schools, graduating from Roseville Area High School. I earned a Bachelor's degree in K-12 Music Education from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and later earned a Master’s degree in Music Education from the University of MN. My career has been teaching middle school and high school choir and orchestra. For the last 21 years I have been the Choir teacher at Irondale High School in the Mounds View Public Schools.
My wife Jessica and I were married in 2002 and moved to Roseville in 2004 to raise our family. Together with our two kids, Tommy and Abby, we love walking and biking in the many parks in Roseville, playing tennis, making music on various instruments, playing cards and Scrabble, and spending time at our family cabin. My parents still live in Roseville, so I understand the importance of our city for all generations of residents.
Since moving to Roseville we have been active members of the Cohansey Neighborhood Association as well as other neighborhood groups that help bring people together and make our neighborhood a better place to live. We have also been active in our church, St. Michael’s Lutheran, in Roseville.
